Against all odds

Sujata was in great pain. Her legs ached, her hands ached and her head was splitting from a migraine. It seemed as if all her bones were aching and she felt like an eighty year old, arthritic woman, doomed to an agony-filled existence. She was in the seventh month of her pregnancy.
