Kimaya Devi was bowing with folded hands in front of her ‘subjects’
(the voters) who could make or mar her fortune in the forth-coming Assembly
elections; which were just two months away.
“Namaste ji, sab aapki krupa hai. I just need your support. Then see how your living conditions will
improve!” She said ingratiatingly to
each would-be voter who was lined up to meet her in the municipal school’s
ground.
