EXCERPT
Venky returned to his hostel room and
Meenakshi went to her class-room. Venky spent the whole afternoon in removing
the marker stains from his face. The cleaner had given him some liquid to wipe
the stuff off his face. Later, he dropped off to sleep, exhausted after his
tiring efforts. When he woke up, it was 10 p.m. He had slept for three hours
and hence felt very refreshed. But immediately, he remembered the events of
that day and the previous night and started trembling.
